Taste just like Japan except the presentation is much better than the taste. The essence of udon is the chewiness and texture, unfortunately, this place tasted nothing like the restaurant of the same name in Japan when I visited. Though the tempura are delicious. Just unfortunate that the udon itself is quite poorly homemade ????
The food and the service were already so great. My wagyu udon was flavourful and served so quickly. The staff were really polite too. What amazed me most was the kindness they showed when I came back the next day asking for their help with my order details for reimbursement reasons (which I was only informed of the next day). They were so supportive, talking with me patiently and even hand-writing another order (with their official stamp) for me as the original one was no longer available. Five stars as my thank-you! ??
Not many udon places in Toronto so was very excited to try it out. It’s a very clean and spacious environment, with nice employees. I got the tempura udon- it was very good! It’s so hard to find good tempura in Toronto let me tell you! It’s always 60% batter and 40% shrimp but this place knows how to make it well!!! >:D The udon its self was what you pay for. There’s higher quality out there (but they’re so expensive), so for the price, it’s decent! I’ll definitely be coming back here for more- thank you!
