As a friend of mine once said, all the best things happen at least one street off the main drag ???? It's usually quiet, but there's a blues jam every first Sunday of the month that transforms it into a bustling little gem with a changing rota of musicians with a great repertoire ????. For sensitive folks like me, earplugs are a sensible choice ????

Superb, musically orientated, very dog friendly, happy pub. Always a good evening or afternoon! ... and real ale too! Fair selection of crisps etc. instead of food! Only wish Helen (The Guv'nor), would bring it half a mile or so, closer to home; not so fleet of foot, these days????????! Lenny B ????????????

Wow!! What a great little pub. We stumbled upon it on a boys night out, didn't even know the place existed prior to our visit. Ok prices , good atmosphere and a fantastic building in its own right.
